Day 6

Day 6

I am grateful for my extended family ( inlaws). They are all so loving and supportive. My mother and father in law have raised an amazing man. The whole family works so hard, and they set such good examples for me. I never thought having sister in laws and brother in laws could be so amazing. I'm glad the Kelly Clan has accepted me into their family and traditions and treated me like their own daughter/sister.  I love them so much!

Day 5

Day 5

Today I'm grateful for......
School.
Weird huh?
Right now if school had a face, I would probably punch it. HOWEVER.. I'm grateful that I have been able to push myself and get into the Dental Hygiene program. That was the easy part. The hard part is STAYING in the dental hygiene program. There is just always something going on, qualifications you need, tests to study for, discussion questions to do, boards to study for. ALWAYS. But don't get me wrong. I LOVE what I do. I get to see some pretty cool stuff, and some amazing transformations. I'm grateful for all my patients who put up with me and lift my spirit. I'm grateful for the knowledge I have and have yet to learn.

I'm also grateful for these girls ( and boys)

They are so awesome! It's great that we all can support each other and lift each other up when we are down. This is one fun dental hygiene group!

I'm especially grateful for these chicks. They are down for pretty much everything. It.gets.crazy.

I know we will be staying friends pretty much forever. We're too much alike to be apart for long haha.

So all in all. School sucks right now but it will be worth it when I'm done.
=)

Day 4

The Gospel.

This includes so much. I love my heavenly father and my savior Jesus Christ with all my heart. It's an amazing feeling knowing that I am never alone. I know God has a plan for me. He see's my eternal plan. I'm excited for what he has in store for me. I love going to Fast and testimony meeting. You may not know this about me, but other than bearing my testimony when I give talks, or at girls camp et. I have NEVER gotten up and bore my testimony. It's definitely NOT because I don't have one. It's because... I'm chicken. So I usually end up bearing it in my mind. I know it's awful, and I know I should be telling people. So how about I tell you now?

I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is TRUE.
I know Jesus Christ lives and he loves everyone.
I know GOD lives, and he is my heavenly father. He knows everything, even things I cannot comprehend. He loves me.
I know we have a true prophet living on this earth ( President Monson) who receives revelation directly.
I know Heavenly Father loves me and KNOWS me. He knows me better than I know myself. I can always turn to him when I am in need or feel like no one else understands.
I know that my family is forever. It's so comforting that I know I will see my grandparents and  generations before that again.
I know the scriptures are true.
I know Jesus Christ died for my sins and I am So grateful that he did so that I may be able to repent and live with my heavenly father again.
I know Heavenly father hears my prayers and answers them.
I have a testimony of temples. I am so glad that I was able to get sealed to my husband for time and all eternity.
I have a testimony of tithing.

Let's face it.. the gospel is awesome. I think of the lyrics in the hymn "Testimony" ........."My eyes are wet, my soul is full.. the spirit speaks today.."

Yup..
that pretty much sums it up.
Happy Sunday =)

Day 3

                                                                  My sister Amy.

Me and Amy are 7 years apart...

Which meant lots of fights and not getting along growing up.
But in the last few years, we have gotten so close. She has grown up so quickly it's scary!
I remember this tiny little bean pole just 3 years ago, and now she's this  gorgeous WOMAN!
She is indeed my best friend. It was funny over the summer I was so mad at her because
she had gotten a job and I didn't get to call her on the drop of a dime to come hang out with me. She is now at that age where we can share clothes. I have never thought I would be excited to have a sister to share clothes, shoes, etc with!

She has attitude ( she sort of takes after me, my poor parents). I know that as we grow older
we will stay just as close. She is there for me for everything. Like yesterday for example. I just got back from Walmart and I forgot Parmesan cheese for my recipe. Nick was still at work, and there was
no way no how I was going back to that place. So I called my sister and she was so willingly
brought me some cheese! Isn't she so sweet? haha.  She is such a strong spirit. She knows more about the scriptures and the gospel than even me and she teaches me something new every day. She stands for what she believes in and lives the standards of the gospel. Amy is such an example to me. I love our dates each week to watch vampire diaries as drool over the hot men.She makes me feel like I am in high school still ( even though i still LOOK like I'm in high school lol) Anways, I am so grateful for her and I love her so much and I appreciate every thing she does for me and I love being her older sister!

Day 2

DAY 2

I am grateful for my mom and dad.

(haha I know me and nick look SO young in this pic)
Let me just say I have put them through SO much. I wasn't much of a angel child
growing up. They have stuck by every decision I have made and trusted me to make
the decisions I have. They have come appointment after appointment while I work on their teeth and I know its such an inconvenience. They let me vent to them when I am having a bad day
and do everything they can to make me feel better ( even if it's finding someone to be
my patient lol) They are such good examples to me, I don't know if I would be where
I am today without out them. They are going to be awesome grandparents one day and
I just want them to know how much I love them and appreciate EVERY little thing they
do for me whether it's making me soup when me or Nick are sick, or cleaning my carpets,
or just giving me a hug when I need it! I LOVE YOU GUYS!

Day One-Gratitude Posts

So I've been seeing a lot of these Gratitude posts every day in November. What a great idea!
So here it goes!

Day One.

This guy.--->
My best friend. Seriously! He never gets sick of me no matter what I do. He supports me in EVERYTHING that I do ( no matter how much I complain to him about it). I'm so grateful that he is such a hard worker and takes care of everything while I am in school. I've never been more comfortable around anyone in my whole life... maybe a little too comfortable at times? haha. His goofy faces and cute smiles keep me laughing. I don't know what I would do without him! I am so excited to see what is in store for us in the future... and that includes making PRETTY babies! But for now..I'm just loving the time we get to spend together, even though the time may be sparse these days.

Fall is here!

Can I just say that Fall is my favorite time of year! It still nice and warm outside, the pretty colors of the trees, and my house smelling of pumpkin spice!

Today when I should have been studying =), I super cleaned my house, put some pumpkin chocolate chip cookies in the oven, took all my summer decorations down, and put my fall decorations up. It always feels good to have a clean house..

Other than that some exciting things have taken place in the last week!

Mike and Sara got married!
They got sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple.

Here are some pictures from the wedding. I apologize for some crappy pictures, but hey at least I have some! I only have a few because I was only able to stay for the first 10 min of pictures because I had to run back to Pocatello for a mandatory infection control class.

Nick and His siblings

I thought this picture was quite cute. My little niece Kenzie fits under Ashlie's pregnant belly.

Cutest. Thing. Ever

Nick walking me to my car :(

At the reception. Mom and Son dance

Me and Liz!

The Happy and Adorable couple.

First dance as Mr. and Mrs.

Daddy Daughter Dance.. So cute.

Next thing we know it...
Ashlie went into labor! Jason and Haylie Taylor were born.
It was kinda funny because they all were praying that she wouldn't have the babies on the day of Sara's wedding. So what happens? She get's home from Salt Lake the day of the wedding and goes into labor! Perfect timing eh? They are so tiny and so cute, and perfectly healthy. I can't wait for them to come home!

Other than that..
School is draining..
Nothing too exciting is happening.

Welp.. Till next time!

It's about time...

Welp.. I finally took the time to figure out to create a blog. I guess it's about time. I am TERRIBLE about keeping a journal or anything like that, so I guess this is the next best thing! Bear with me I don't know much about this whole blogging thing, I'm still figuring it out! I don't know how good I will be at updating it do to the fact that my senior year just started in the dental hygiene program and I'm already SUPER busy.  Nick is also starting his last year in HVAC school. It's nice that we will both be done around the same time ( well sort of, I have all my boards and such until July). I'm so grateful for Nick, he is SO supportive of my schooling. There are many a time I won't get home until after midnight or lock myself in the bedroom the whole night doing homework or studying. He's a champ. I love that guy. A LOT.
